At Ysgol Gymraeg Nant Gwenlli, health and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.  

A large part of this is access to healthy, nutritious and well-balanced meals which help our children grow into strong adults both physically and mentally as well as developing positive relationships with food.  

Under the Welsh Government’s Universal Primary Free School Meals (UPFSM) policy, all primary school aged children are entitled to a free hot school meal every day. Our school meals are provided by Chartwells who provide a wide range of options including a Main Meal of the Day, Jacket Potatoes, Pasta, Sandwiches and Halal/Vegetarian options.

School Meals are booked via ParentPay. Username and Passwords are created and given out within the first week of your child(ren) starting with us. 

Alternatively, you are welcome to send your child with a healthy packed lunch from home!
