Croeso i Anturiaethwyr / Welcome to Anturiaethwyr!

We are the Immersion class of Ysgol Gymraeg Nant Gwenlli. We range from Year 2 - Year 6 and have come from all over Newport. We have often begun our educational journeys in English-Medium provisions, but have transferred across to continue our adventure in Welsh-Medium.

We stay in Mrs Woods' Immersion Class for around 12 weeks, and we use this time in order to help us reach the same academic level as our peers. When we graduate from Anturiaethwyr, we either stay here at Ysgol Gymraeg Nant Gwenlli, or we go on to join another Welsh-Medium school in the area.

Our themes change weekly depending on how quickly our understanding of the Welsh language progresses.
